WANTED: INDO’S NEXT TOP SURFER
Dicari.. Dua orang cowok dan dua orang cewek berusia 14-18 tahun yang berdomisili di Bali dan belum pernah surfing untuk mengikuti program From Zero to Hero dari Rip Curl School of Surf. Bagi yang terpilih akan mengikuti surf lesson & training dari Rip Curl School of Surf selama setidaknya sepuluh kali secara gratis. Di akhir program, peserta akan diikutkan pada kontes Rip Curl GromSearch. Selain itu peserta juga akan mendapatkan pakaian dan surfboard. Cara mengikutinya: kirim surat ke Surf Time kenapa kamu pengen jadi jagoan baru di kancah surfing di Indonesia. Kami tunggu suratnya sampai dengan 10 Mei 2006. Be the next Indo top surfer!

Tie the Knot
Selamat kepada kru Surf Time yang telah mengakhiri masa lajangnya, yaitu I Putu Surya Nalendra dengan Aslinda Abdullah Sawawi pada tanggal 25 Februari lalu, juga Narendra Kameshwara dengan Pika Rustia Cempaka pada tanggal 8 April 2006. May you live happily ever after!

New Skatepark
Ada bowl keren untuk maen skate nih! Salah seorang skater Bali, Julian baru aja bikin slametan atas sukses dibikinnya bowl yang bertempat di Jl. Sedap Malam, Sanur. Menurut para skater yang udah nyobain disana, bowl ini bentuknya keren (love), transisi bagus, dan enak buat carving juga bikin trik. Penasaran, langsung aja kesana!

RUU APP
Menanggapi Rancangan Undang-Undang Anti Pornografi dan Pornoaksi (RUU APP), berbagai komponen masyarakat Bali unjuk suara mengenai hal ini. Heboh menolak RUU APP ini berlangsung dari tanggal 3 Maret lalu dengan adanya demo yang dimeriahkan dengan berbagai pertunjukkan di daerah Renon, Denpasar. Keesokan harinya puluhan band menggelar konser yang diadakan mulai dari Sentral Parkir Kuta, Apache Club, hingga The Wave.

QUIKSILVER SIGN MARLON GERBER!
Quiksilver would like to welcome its newest team rider – Marlon Gerber. Quiksilver look forward to the contribution Marlon will make to the Quiksilver surf team with his smooth and powerful surfing in the water as well as his hard working attitude out of the water. When asked about his future with Quiksilver, Marlon stated ‘I’m stoked to be with Quiksilver and I look forward to improving my surfing with the opportunities Quiksilver have given me – I think we will be able to do a lot for surfing in Indonesia and the region – I cant wait! Marlon performed well in the 2005 ISC competition coming in 12th place and he is ready to push it further in 2006.

Rusty signs Jamie "The Freak" O'Brien to a four-year deal
Twenty three year old 2004 Pipe Masters winner Jamie O'Brien has started 2006 with a serious bang, joining Rusty's internationally acclaimed surf team. Recognised as one of the most exciting young surfers in the world Jamie represents the brands commitment to high performance powerful surfing. "Jamie is not only a freak but also a leader, innovator and all round charger" says Rusty USA Team Manager, Matt Shadbolt. Founder, Rusty Preisendorfer, couldn't agree more, "Jamie is an incredible surfer with a creative, 'no limits' approach to riding waves. I'm psyched to be working and collaborating with such a talented surfer". Signing on with Rusty International for the next 4 years, O'Brien is intent on continuing his perfect pipe form under the Rusty mantle. Nicknamed 'the freak' and known as the pipe master, O'Brien comes to Rusty with a swag of wins, most notably; the 2003 Hansen's Energy Pro and the 2004 Pipe Masters. Based in Hawaii and being fortunate enough to grow up right in front of Pipeline has put O'Brien at ease with the beastly Pipe and Backdoor waves, pushing his 'new school' approach to riding serious surf at the forefront of professional surfing. Throughout 2006, O'Brien's main focus will be to compete on the WQS circuit as well as working on his highly anticipated video "Freak Side".
